“…And at last you’ll know with surpassing certainty that only one thing is more frightening than speaking your truth. And that is not speaking.”
-Audre Lorde.
About Me
I’ve had an extensive career in community mental health, serving children, youth, young adults, parents and families. My professional experience influences my collaborative, culturally responsive, trauma-informed and socio-politically aware approach to private psychotherapy.
My Approach
I work relationally, meaning that our work together is the meeting of two (or more) minds and hearts. I want to hear your story, as I truly enjoy learning about people! I make no assumptions about who you are or what you need to shift the things in your life that are troubling you. I hope that my curiosity about you will allow the space to explore and discover new meanings about your life, allowing you to feel more present and fulfilled. I bring to the relationship the ability to facilitate your deeper understanding of yourself through reflection, empathy and insight.
